You guys are amazing! You never stop bringing us such cool combos! Thank you! … Now, Is there a way to pause after the 2nd back dive and before the knee belay or do you just have to be prepared to go for it?

Hi Jill, you can pause a little there in the forward fold but it will look more seamless and smooth to continue rotating into the knee hang

So the back dive is scary without a spotter when I practice so I’m working on the mini rig. I’m having a problem getting my left hand high enough behind my back to sink into the wrap for the flag position. Any tips there?

Hi Cathy, Rachel will give some tips for this during next weeks Q and A, in the mean time keep working on utilizing momentum as you rotate the left leg and drive the hips upwards!

Hello! I have some questions about the challenge “Faux Flag into Butterfly Loop Splits”. I loved the sequence! In the moment 4:08, do you have any suggestion to make sure there is no cross before entering in the loop splits? I tried and sometimes I get crossed tails and I realize when I try to mark the cross split, too late to fix it 🙂 Another question is if you have any suggestion to avoid slipping when passing the torso between the fabrics before marking the split, sometimes I dont feel confident in the pike position to shake out the silks before entering the loops split, its like I am slipping a little. Thank you!

Great questions! To avoid crossing try to ‘shake out’ the tails in the forward fold, this way you can eye ball and avoid any crossing over your lap. To avoid slipping try to squeeze the thighs together in the forward fold and move swiftly into the loop splits.

Any tips on getting the loop splits to slide easily down to the ankles? I remember really struggling with this a couple of years ago in one of the sequences and finally got it. But now I don’t remember my secret trick and the loops are getting caught high on my calves just past the back of my knee.

Hi! Yes, that can be tricky. When you reach up to the poles with the loops- take a full reach so you have enough slack. Then as you slide- really think hips down, under the level of your ankles, so gravity can help. Additionally, a less grippy leg cover can also help, haha. Let us know how that goes!

Hii, Im working on a single back dive and finding that sometimes I have a lot of slack during the drop. It’s frightening. Any tips on lessening the slack?

Hi! Is there a way to watch the community videos for this challenge? I’d love to see the sequences/flows other people created.
