This is SO EXCITING! Yayyyyy! I LOVE this guy! Thanks SilksStars! Trying to get an early start. I can do a front hip balance, however I am finding this entry very challenging! Also, I have tennis elbow and it is hurting that bottom elbow. Any tips or tricks to get me started?! Thanks!

Great question, we will see if Brennan has another option or thoughts about modifications. Until then, make sure the bottom wrist is not flexing back while in the front balance, the forearm to hand is a straight and strong line.
Happy training!

Hello! I barely dipped a toe in to the challenge today, but am also excited.
For the release from single ankle hang, is it ok to wrap arms for first tries while finding a balanced shape? I am a bit too chicken to trust my grip without training wheels.
So far I also find the entry challenging. But I’ll dip more than toes into the challenge soon. -

Struggling right at the start! I can’t figure out how to get into the front balance with this entry. I’m not sure how to get the pole into that right hip crease for even a remote chance at successful front balance.

I’m having a hard time looping the silk over the bottom of my foot from the front balance. I’m just not flexible enough. I’m trying to use my other foot for an assist but it looks messy. Any modifications would be welcome!

I wanted to rewatch the Q&A, but it’s not showing up for me. What can I do?

Hey Jill!
Here is a link for the Q&A: https://www.crowdcast.io/c/blfpi11vgxn1?register=true
A work around if the password doesn’t work the first time is to click on the ‘Email me a link’ button on the bottom right side of the pop up window. Typically, the password works from that link, for some reason!

Thank you very much for the link! The Q&A was very helpful. I have now moved forward and I can’t let go of the tails when I’m in my ankle hang and I’m sure this won’t surprise anyone but I’m only like 2 inches 😂 off the floor. Is that the problem that I don’t have enough weight in my tails and I have to go higher? Or is it possibly something else that’s going wrong? Thanks! Having a blast! 😁

Hey Jill!
You may not have enough tension in the ankle wrap for it to cinch and hold. Try it higher so you can fully settle into the ankle hang and see if that helps.
Happy training!

I’ve been struggling in silence this month.. lol.. I can get into the front balance with ease but as soon as i start to try to wrap the foot my hand just starts sliding. If i tuck my knees i can wrap the bottom foot but by that point i’ve already slid to the floor so it’s pointless

Great question. One thing to check is that your hips are staying above your shoulders while you wrap the foot, if you sit up too far in the front balance, it might tip into a place where holding the press through the hand becomes too hard.
Another option is to key over into your front balance with the legs tucked to wrap the foot before you start sliding. You can also play with building endurance in the front balance fold by seeing how long you can hold it and how far you can adjust the shape of the body and still maintain control. Let us know how it goes! Happy training!
