Hi Jill! Ok. In terms of losing height- this one does slide a bit, so be sure to wear sticky pants or apply some rosin. Also- your initial thigh wrap could be higher up on the leg. Try to wrap it as close to your hip as possible. Thinking this will also help with the thigh bruising. Also- keep lifting your hips high up during the second switchover. It looks like your hips drop down some during that part. Let us know how that goes!
