So I screen recorded and slowed down the entry into split silk hip key, wasnt able to try anything since I was traveling but now I am back and will try tomorrow.

Great question, we will see if Clara has any suggestions and will brain storm here as well.
For safety considerations, if the silk is rigged directly to a beam, rig point to carabiner to rescue 8, spin can work. If the point is rigged with rope, spinning without a swivel puts strain on the rope and is not good long term.
Hope that helps enough for now!

How does Clara think about spinning? e.g. do you stay focused on one point to avoid getting dizzy? Or turn your head each time with the spin to stay in the same line of motion? What is the best and safest way to manage a spin at higher speeds?

Great breakdown! This went naturally for me the first few times and then when I revisited the transition I couldn’t figure out why my arm was getting stuck going into the sit. Your breakdown reminded me that I have to let the silk on my shoulder move to my elbow before I try to sit up. Thank you!!!

Thanks for the video!
You have all the right parts in the right places. See if walking the hands up higher before the sit up gives you more room. And watch the timing of the knee slide. Veronica get her hands even on each pole, which is pretty high over the legs for the free arm and her knee hook doesn’t slide while she grabs with the wrapped arm.…Read more
